Well first, I use SAI 2 for anything pose related and set brush opacity to 60% because it's much easier to draw in than PS on any derivatives or any other program (although once you level up in gesture drawing the EXP will also apply to something like PS for example so just focus on getting it down in SAI first).

I use Krenz's poses and Loomis' poses (you know the posey ones) as a reference when doing these.

It's a matter of practice and copying off people better than you, in my day /ic/ had a lot of people drawing better than I did in these sorts of threads so I copied my style from Krenz/Loomis/them

not that guy buy you want to focus more on the curves of the body. bring out the S curve in the right arm more, and really bring out the C curve in the left. don't draw 2 C curves for the left arm, it'll create a little snowman.

I think this is the applicable thread.
Nicely done, btw. I myself can't see anything glaringly wrong. Proportions look good, the forms are solid. The one with the girl lying on her stomach, her lower left leg looks like it kinda disappeared and the feet are flat peanut shapes but everything else looks very good for rough sketches. I envy your line control.
