Are you in America anon? The FDA regulates sunscreen like a drug and hasn't approved new sunscreen ingredients in decades. Asian and European sunscreens are the best. Asian sunscreens are lighter and thinner in consistency while European ones have the best sun protection. In buying Asian or European sunscreens you are getting better protection and better (less goopy and oily consistency) than American sunscreens. You are best off buying through Ebay or using a shopping service to send you genuine European/Asian products (shopping services are like middlemen for products you can't get delivered stateside, customs is literally confiscating sunscreen like they are drugs). You don't need to worry about getting in trouble for buying foreign sunscreens it is just a bit more of a hassle than going down to Target to buy something.

Good brands are:

> La Roche Posay
> Avene
> Bioderma

Asian sunscreens:

> Missha

I've tried Asian sunscreens and am trying European ones next. Some European brands like La Roche Posay have weaker FDA approved versions of their products to sell Stateside so make sure you purchase the European version,

There were some pretty solid, successful female painters in the past but for whatever reason they just aren't very well known today. Think Elisabeth Vigee Lebrun, Adelaide Labille-Guiarde and Artemisia Gentilesche (the former two being very well known and successful in their era). I also really like Tamara De Lempicka and Beatrix Potter, even if the latter was 'merely' an illustrator.

If you still thought it made you look shiny I recommend oil blotting sheets or gift-wrap tissue paper. Lightly dab and it absorbs excess oil and moisture

Australia actually, I've only ever used your typical chemist sunscreens like cancer council or banana boat which is fine for the beach but pretty gross for everyday wear. It looks like I can get some of those here through ebay though, thanks for the info anon!
