ahave you guys ever seen improvement in your art over a week? I'm trying to grind my ass off with fun with a pencil so that when winter break is over i can draw 10 times better than ever

A watched pot never boils, OP. You'll see art gains when you least expect it. It will take more than just 1 book. now stop making shitty threads, this should be in the /beg/ thread

Ten times zero is still zero.

I'm joking. If you're brand spanking new then a week with loomis will probably help a lot from where you were. However, it's a bad attitude to have in the long run. Focus on doing it right instead of doing it fast.

I'm not COMPLETELY new but i still consider myself a beginner (i did a few exercises from drawing on the right side of the brain and figure drawing for all its worth a year ago and took a drawing 1 class at college) I'm still shit in my opinion.

ok, how about 2 weeks? i don't go back to school until march 6 and i want to use all the time in the world. that's why i downloaded keys to drawing as well

its been a few days, and ive spent about 4-5 hours a day drawing loomis heads. i FEEL like I'm slightly improving. i know i understand construction and facial expression nuances a little better.

yea i put extra sour cream in my carne asada burrito and noticed ive been drawing slightly better since i ate that I think the fat from the sour cream gave me a slight boost in brain power

>> No.3320254

Yes, keep at it. Always review your work, but don't shoot yourself in the foot. Find the one thing you'd fix, then fix it in your work to follow. Then find the next one and so on.
You'll see you're improving. Love what you do, but don't marry your work, you always make more, and always improve.

Very nice anon! Chicken tendies are jampacked with protein! Very good for brain function which may lead to big art gainz.

I feel your pain.
I plateau'd so hard, that I started declining.
A few weeks ago I decided to flip through my sketchbooks to see how far I've come, and I noticed my old lines were much more confident. If I had a vagina, I'd have cried all night.

>> No.3320437

Same here, OP. Been workin' like 12 hours a day, seen some improvement.

No, but that is because I work during the week. No time to grind fundies and shit.

Dude I ate 3 chimichangas today then drew a little and I honestly think improved because of it.

Good book. But more importantly, the person is drawing.
