HUION and YIYNOVA are going to put some sweat to wacom's dick.

I mean, most studios are still going to shell out 3grand for their displays but you can get a yiynova display that works nearly just as well for a FRACTION of the cost of a cintiq.

I'm so god damn frustrated with Wacom. They made those companions and studios but they completely out-priced their consumer. They needed to provide the exact same product but half the cost. The problem with that though... the companions would have been a competing product to the larger cintiqs at that price point.

Wacom's monopoly is going to be their downfall. They can't provide the kind of products that would grow their company because it would, at the same time, compete with their own god damn baseline. Eventually, the other companies are going to have products 100% equal or even better than Wacom's and they will still be cheaper.

If I was an investor of Wacom I would be sweating dicks right now. DICK. SWEAT.

OP here. No bullshit, I just fixed it by rapidly spinning the unplugged power cord and the 3-in-1 cord in both hands at once like nunchucks for 3 minutes. This would have never happened without phenyethylamine and sleep deprivation.

The lesson is to never unplug your tablet for any reason, do drugs and don't sleep. Now back to never gonna making it.

Little bit off topic: Like two years ago I asked Masahiro Ito (the art director / model designer of Silent Hill video games) that whether he uses Cintiq or regular tablet. He uses Wacom Intuos3 with Eizo CRT display and had no idea that Cintiqs exist. I found it pretty hilarious that a professional has no idea of these things existing. I had to explain to him that you can draw on screen and linked one to him.

And to clarify, I honestly don't think he is using these because he thinks they are better old school gear but because he just happens to have them around.

Try replugging the wires in the back of it, or making sure they're plugged in properly. My cintiq does this all the fucking time and it drives me nuts. I have a 27qhd, so I don't know if your cords will be plugged in in the back, but basically replug all the wires you have for it.

I had the same problem for the longest time. Basically it happens when your screen goes to sleep and wakes up when you come back. So, whenever you're not using it turn off the screen manually, never let it idle. If you do, you need to restart the tablet drivers and photoshop. This always worked for me.

I want to buy one and there's an option to pay over time rather than all at once but its through this company called Klarna.

I've been looking into it and all the reviews I'm reading are talking about identity theft and shit and people waiting outside their houses to steal packages.

Does anybody have experience with this? I don't want to have to save up $1700 all at once but i don't want niggas outside my house either.

>>3311657
Klarna itself is a separate company. Basically you pay $170 over 12 months instead of $1700 at once.

Just in doing some research I've found a large amount of complaints about how easy it is to manipulate. Many people we're being charged for things they didn't order and had people loitering outside their houses to take said packages that they never ordered. Apparently all you need is the name and address, people were using fake phone numbers and emails.

In checking their facebook page, all the negative comments had the customer support replying with the same "sorry to hear that!", meanwhile all the positive comments we're all liked by the same 2 people, including the customer support person themselves that runs the page.

I'm just wondering if anyone here had experience with it, or if theres another option.

didn't realize I was in /beg/ when I posted this the first time so I copied and pasted.

well d/ic/ks, I learnt my lesson the hard way. Bought a Huion GT-220 V2 with my tax return on Thursday. Received it on Saturday. Planning to return it next Monday after their entire staff goes back to work from their Chinese New Year vacation. Would do it sooner but they're a Monday through Friday company so even by the time they're back, they still get a free weekend to do nothing with.

Stylus randomly disconnects even though my PC says everything is connected. From Saturday around 2pm, until right this very second, it's become unresponsive a total of 7 times. Sometimes for a minute or two, but last night it was a whole 30 minutes. Right now it's up to 20 minutes. And it's not a traditional touch screen, like a smart phone or iPad or whatever. The stylus is the only thing that can write on it. Piece of fucking shit. When it decides to fuck up it's nothing more than a glorified second monitor that reeks of Chinese failure. I shouldn't have been in such a hurry. If I had just saved up the extra $150 I could have gotten a Cintiq. I know it has driver issues but I'd rather have to reinstall my drivers constantly than to have a glorified paperweight at random times for random amounts of time. Found some drivers on their tumblr that claims to fix the issue but only on the 220, not the 220 V2. That page hasn't been updated in like 4 years either.

Moral of the story is: Do not get the Huion tablets. They are cheaper than Wacom, sure, but you really do get what you fucking pay for.
