Not for the top but a good indicator that you're "passable" is when people won't comment at all on it or only comment to give a genuine critique.

Basically I know my work has reached a point where I mostly ghost under the radar of trolls and haters but when something is shit, people give genuine feedback rather than just "it's shit."

Whenever I post in /alt/ I get ignored 100% most of the time. Sometimes I get the "blog" meme post but it's always silence like I never posted at all.

I guess I'm slightly ghost slightly at the point where nobody crits me for whatever reason.

Sinix, Mohrbacher and I think even Aldoori lurk here and there, probably dropping an advice or two while they're at it, but never really post their work 'cause they know there's little to no benefit from getting shit from a couple spiteful crabs.

I think that's where your progress will ultimately take you. The ones who think they're the best 'cause the work they post is seemingly the best overlooked this simple fact.
