This is actually a great idea for a challenge thread. Post a photo and have everyone try to illustrate a character in it. It'd be a test to match the perspective and the lighting and even the focus of the camera. I bet that would be fun.

also the second image in the OP isn't even bad. i like it and would use it in place of screaming red wojack. not that it's a great work of art but shitty little doodles like that don't need to be policed. if he was trying to do a parody of a famous statue or something by the masters with this meme and failed horribly on the anatomy and rendering then we'd have something to talk about.
