19 year old here. How do I punish myself for not practicing drawing serious things over the past few months? I abd my Peers noticed that I've made improvements since summer 2016, especially in my anatomy but I keep discouraging myself from learning more about shading abd value since I was afraid I'd suck dick at it.
What do?

Who cares. If you're that paranoid over not drawing "serious things" and don't feel compelled to do them, then just don't do them. Go at your own pace, no one's stopping you.
