Just the kind of person that could have used some art school; he was obviously motivated enough (and this is back before art schools cost $6,000,000 a semester)

Truly retarded he didn't get admitted. Maybe he was a giant sperg in real life and people felt he was too awkward or anything.

Hitler threads should be banned, they've been done to death and they're always the same.

Hitler was told that his figure drawing skills were too lacking and the school wanted figure drawing.

World War 2 would still have happened even if he were a successful artist, even into the war he held art dear to his art and dreamed that when his country was fixed he'd retire and spend his days painting.

He got into politics because he was disgusted at what he saw and felt an intense desire to intervene, he's not butthurt at the jews for dismissing him.

They weren't even teaching modern art at the time, that came a few decades later.

I really wish we could see what standards they actually had at the academy for entry-level students.

From what I understand kids first went to a preparatory school for 2-4 years or something like that prior to attending the academies, but I don't know if it extents to Austria as well, and I don't know how good they are after the preparation.
