anyways, getting close to being done with this, did some more experimenting with the artstyle and I'm digging the comic book-esque black bold lines. still don't like the face though, I think the mouth looks really bad but I have no clue how I'd draw it differently without shading it too much. Maybe I should just try redrawing the entire face altogether, go for something less anime-like. Not sure if I wanna draw a proper background or not, I'm pretty tired of this drawing by now.

Feels out of balance. You centered the frame on the nipple, but the perspective isn't strong enough to balance the weight of the elements. It's on slight angled, it should be more angled than this. The right girl should be closer, her back should occupy more space, that way there wouldn't be just tentacles and empty space on the right side.

Besides why are they naked but wearing hats and crowns? This feels mild. Go full naked or add more clothes and accessories like bracelets, anklets, necklaces, jackets,piercings

So, I'm a furry porn artist, always have. But I have turned down a lot of work because I was not comfortable drawing human characters. I would like to eventually overcome this rather large hindrance. So, I drew a random sketch of Velma from Scooby Doo. A little intimidated by how much I seem to be outclassed here, but I'm wandering in circles lately. This is pretty basic, but it's about the farthest I seem to get before I hit a wall. Especially with harsh lights like here. I'll shade it, and soften the terminator, make everything smooth, but even then it looks like incredibly flat and boring. Lately I haven't even touched faces since they're mostly shading when you don't dig the super anime look. I'm not incredibly concerned with linework or basic shapes, but once I get linework I'm reasonably satisfied with I only ever get about this far with coloring. I've read quite a bit of color theory and shading and such, but the actual leap between this super basic shading and actually making it look nice is something I'm not sure how to do.
Keep in mind my background is definitely self-taught, and I only started extremely recently, so there might be some huuuugely basic step or I'm missing or a conceptual block or something. Even a point to a bridging video would be massively helpful (I've been watching some KNKL, but there's a lot of content there, and most of it way over my head)

Holy shit where to start. Legs are not even at all, even with the angle, they dont match up at all. The arms look like some kind of parasite growing out of her torso, very bad form and foreshortening. the waist is nearly nonexistent. The breasts are flat and are in a different perspective.

Well she looks good, decent really. Some of the lines, especially those intersecting each other, could benefit from being a tad bolder instead of faded lines and implied lines using color (like where her chin meets the bottom of her bangs). The background looks flat, both the colors and the bed. Desaturate some of those colors, add a filter or something because the lighting in a bedroom would be soft.
A complement though: you did a decent job on anatomy and the body you drew is pretty good compared to the show.

Do you render all your pictures? What I see often is people who spend so much time coloring a picture that fundamentally is fucked. Do you sketch often? The expression is haunting due to the shading (I cannot properly phrase how, but the light source and her right eye do not help), the hand is out of perspective/does not balance the figure at all

Lastly, the thighs look like what happens when you stretch toys, from the nineties with the malleable limbs, and leave it behind in the toy chest.

The form of the body is shaded very competently, with good design foundation with the shadows. Her forearm and her ass do look a tad awkward.

I always start in 1920x1080, no real reason really, crop it as needed and upscale it 2x when doing the lineart. exact measurements doesn't really matter though, just sketch small and upscale from there, homes.

1. Don't just draw outlines freehand. Construct your shapes. Start with a 'box' as a head and take a while to refine the geometry until it looks like the face you want, for example. Artists don't imagine a photo in their head and try to copy it, they have only a vague intuition of what their end product should look like, and do all the 'dirty work' of making that idea come to life on the canvas instead. Play with layers, make mistakes and erase them, etc, it'll help you grasp the difference between "tracing" a picture in your head and constructing your forms from scratch
