I was her patron several months ago when she talked about it in her patreon. She said that the kickstarter is only for the exposure/to spread the word more, since that's the platform all artists who come out with art books use.

One of her patrons compiled her PS files and sent them to print and started the kickstarter to ride on her money train.

She doesn’t notice or doesn’t care because there is too much noise around her art. Chasing down spoofers is a full time job and she’d need to hire a legal team. Besides its like free promotion.

Sameface : the book
I don't criticize her work, in fact I ""learned"" to render skin digitally through her tutorials at first, and it was great.
But an artbook of the same thing for 200 pages is too much.
That said if she can earn money form it and want to do it, then it's cool.
