Not him but notes are semi worthless in my experience. You'll write something down and then the more you draw you'll find out that what you wrote was wrong and then you end up adjusting the theory. Rather than write notes on drawings you'll never look back at in a folder just write what you're currently working on top of a white board. Let practice do the rest.

I do it, as it makes the whole process more fun. I would have stopped making studies if it weren't for it.
