I have yet to grasp the hate for tumblr noses
The tip of the nose has many capillaries and it usually is redder than rest of the face, what's wrong with stylizing it in that way? Nobody claims that is the best way to paint noses

Different people have different ideals of what makes a drawing worthy; different ideals of aesthetic and beauty.
