Where can I find In-depht tutorials/tips/techniques/tricks on casting shadows in perspective? (and while we at it in general light source in perspective)

This is simple but once you have a big room with A light source casting on hundred of items it is really fucking hard.. I'm looking for ways to do it faster.

There is no quick and easy way to do it accurately with construction. It is a laborious process, and you'll never be as accurate as a free 3d modeling software.

Did you get the book?
I only have a problem with cast shadow, does it give more useful tips and tricks to make it faster than my original image?
Thanks

You have to choose between accuracy and speed. You can learn to eyeball cast shadows to look "good enough" but you won't be able to make them as accurate as with construction. Also, with really complex objects it's not really practically possible to construct perfect cast shadows. You can make a rough estimate of the cast shadow of a tree; it's general shape and direction, but you are obviously never going to be able to accurately plot the cast shadows of a thousand leaves. Even the old masters could not cast shadows from imagination in really complex scenes. If you look at scenes involving lots of figures you'll often see that cast shadows are either omitted or the light situation is overcast which eliminates hard cast shadows.

Does this make sense?
The Sun is casting Light inside a room.

Yes. But it's the friggin sun so the whole room is going to be full of diffuse light.

I know but sometimes you can see just a projection of the window's light like I did.
or like pic related

Does that also happen with other lights?

Usually the shadow from the Sun is depicted using parallel lines (because the sun light source is too far away).

When it's an object it's almost like I drew it BUT the object will be connected to the ground plane not the Horizon line.

In my example it's a bit tricky since it's 1 point perspective I think. So I just mixed both techniques, that's why I'm not sure if it's right.

Hmmm isn't E false though? Shadows aren't supposed to "add up" this much...?
