suggest your artwork to the senior members that are incharge of approving it. There's a different overseer for each category.

There's really not point to a DD anymore since the frontpage redesign. Here's a link to an in depth statistical correlation showing that DD's aren't as effective as they used to be at getting favorites.(https://parallellogic.deviantart.com/journal/DAta-Mining-10-1-Dead-Daily-Deviations-548783740 scroll to data mining).

About five years ago, a DD was a really good way to gain a large following really quickly but that's kind of gone by the wayside.

Deviantart is the most widely known art community, and the place you're more likely than any to get many + loyal followers and commissions. You can make a living-wage patreon with just deviantart followers, whereas you probably couldn't with instagram or facebook followers because most are not artists. Many professional clients like card game or video game companies browse through deviantart as well.

That's not a positive thing for someone like you. To anyone browsing artstation, your art won't stand out, or worse, it stands out in a bad way compared to all the amazing pros posting there. They see your work on the front page and they think the exact same way about your art as you think about the shitters who make it to the DA front page.
