Nice trips.

The pose looks a little flat, things are kind of disjointed as though you are drawing each elements separate from each other. Rather than looking to the whole picture and how they'll relate to each other.

Eyes are wonky too. Has a lazy eye/face melty look to it.

If you want to see the apparent problems do flip the image and you'll see what corrections you'll need to make.

An old commission i did. I feel like I probably did way too much work for what I charged, but at least I was personally happy with the result overall. I got the commish somehow through 4chan interactions--but /co/'s drawthread is a clusterfluck these days. Is it even worth trying to get work thru these boards any more?

Krita is kinda in a bad state atm. Recently they ran into some financial trouble due to obscure tax issues and, long story short, development might be halted or significantly slowed for a long time to come.

In its current state it's solid, but not optimized. It comes with good brushes and an easy to use brush engine right out of the box, along with stabilizers, perspective tools, color wheel options and other things you generally wish PS had by default. It lags pretty badly, but it's still one of the better Linux options. But otherwise it's a drawing program like any other, you can draw in it just the same as SAI, Photoshop, or MangaStudio. And it's free

Final rating: worth making a few pieces on and trying out some of the features on.

Wow, how polite! It might be easier if you use a reference photo or something similar. Don't think of the mouth as a line. Think of it as a set of shadows... That should help.

Amazing. The only think I can think to add would be maybe a few more of those darkest shadows in places like the where the lips meet, the nostril, etc. I think upping the contrast of the shadows would make the face a lot more striking and readily readable. Right?

Nipples don't point forward, rather they point inwards towards the spine. Your eyes are way too big for your head, practice your Loomis heads.Feet and knees always point in the same direction, your right foot is off in some other direction. Try and make fat sit on the contours of the skeleton. Your color work indicates the belly well but it doesn't seem to actually have weight. I think this would make the position of the belly button lower when you take gravity into consideration when drawing a belly.

please study the fundies. seriously, drawing the way you do is a crutch. when you know the basics, you can stylize more comfortably wthout having to find those little crutch ways of getting around difficult things (Iike the neck/neck shadow, the eyes, the tiny mouth, the chin and anatomy in general)

i feel like her face could be less round, or maybe move her mouth up to the center of her face. also i think it's kinda bad when her back is so curved that you could draw a straight line from her arm pit to the top of her butt and i would make it look better.

The biggest offender I personally believe, is how the back of the leg overlaps.

We are looking at your creature from an upward angle, so the overlap should be coming from up to down (like in the knee and the belly) instead its coming from down to up.
