There is a possibility that mystics are right and mechanics of sin/karma pervade reality on the deepest level. Its just that you cant see them at work because you look at reality from the perspective of an ant, not an anthill.

You don't. Internalize the hatred and apathy, put it into your studies. Do fun stuff on the side. Work for at least 2 hours every day, at the exact same time.
Treat it like exercise or food or jerking off. It's just something you gotta do.

Bad advice, how to kill yourself in its quickest way.

Vague question, vague/unhelpful answers.

Keep at it and explore. Feelings can pass.

Here's what Faulkner had to say about it:
>The only environment the artist needs is whatever peace, whatever solitude, and whatever pleasure he can get at not too high a cost.

Are there people around you supporting you, at least emotionally, no matter what? Are you sharing your progresses with other people? Are your schedules too grim?

Just know this: if you're a student, everything that won't ruin your mind and body is fine as long as it makes you practice. Forget all the morals that are linked to art (if you do this/believe that you're not an artist), it's all bullshit. If you don't believe me, read biographies of other artists, so that you'll discover that no behaviour, skill or pattern will lead you to produce a masterpiece, the only link is that they actually produced it, everything else is just biographical nonsense.

Also learn how to be selfish. This life of yours will be prett harsh, so it's better to start thinking NOW, about your future serenity and stability, as Faulkner said, at not too high of a cost.

If it makes you feel any better, I was looking through /ic/ for something to doodle and I really liked your cat/fox/wolf girl so I drew her :3

I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil but I never have anything I want to draw. I decided not to become an artist because I stopped finding joy in it. There's no point in having good drafting skills if you don't want to draw anything, so as long as you keep wanting to put your ideas into paper, I think that's the most important part.

I'm gonna go watch a movie or something.

Yeah that's the point, I may be "good" but I don't do anything with it. If you have something you want to draw, you're already in a better place as an artist than I am. I'm jaded and I've basically lost all the imagination I had when I was younger, but I've still got the muscle memory which just sits there for the most part.
