I have a different question for the shitposters: what's the point to shitpost on /ic/, of all boards? It's populated by a few people with a rather specific interest, and as such is slow as fuck. The same thing on /co/ or /r9k/ would gather 10X times the reaction you're getting here, many a shit thread I saw falling to page 10 with 0 reply.

I doubt your "advice" ever trumps my own, at least not from what I've seen. If it's a form of a redline then that is verifiable measurable proof that what you say holds weight.

All you really need to do is write very authentically (like I do), and it'll be taken as gospel to beginners. If you're good at this you can make money this way hint hint.
