So, does anybody else have problems using he Loomis method to build up the head? I'm having trouble slicing up the sides of the ball.
>Slice off sides by dropping earline straight down.
That doesn't tell you about how wide or tall is the circle you're supposed to slice off.
How the hell does he do it?

he read the rest of his books and watch the proko tutorials. and remember all of it is an estimate and not a rule. if you just read the damn books and do the exercises you'll get better.

I think Loomis just eyeballs his stuff until it feels right. He even says to do it that way for foreshortening.

How to draw head from any angle 3rd vid, the hight of the oval is always 2/3 hight of the cranium.

Probably not, but if you have some sense of perspective you can improve pretty quick.

Also, learn different ways of drawing head, I think for beginning drawing rectangular box might be easier since it gives you all proportions right away.
