Whaddup /ic/, just found about the site ffffound.com. It will close on 8th may and holds a fuckton of images, photographs and design shenanigans which are pretty much exclusive to the site and will go down with it. I just went through a few pages and found a lot of interesting inspo and reference. It's like a goldmine. I advise you the save the shit outta this site and post the best here. A lot of the source links for the images are dead but you can still get them from the site, so take that opportunity before it's too late.

I organize everything by dozens of folders and subfolders, and if I want to mash it all in one I just use adobe bridge and select "show items from subfolders" and it populates a list of everything in my inspiration folder.

You can also grab random images from your folder with a command in powershell
IE mine is
>dir -file -recurse -path D:\Files\Art\Inspiration\ | get-random

It's nice to be able to keep your options open, if you want a big mash of stuff to potentially inspire you it's still possible if you have a folder system, but if you don't have a folder system you're in for a lot of searching to find specific ref material you know you have.

Often when I do a reverse image search or just search for a painting or image in general, all that comes up is fucking pinterest. there's a ton of stuff that's exclusive or seems to be, because they managed to completely obliterate any source. Where do the guys who post it on there get it from? Why is there so much untraceable?

Also, it seems unneccessary to try to save images specifically from this site imo, just go to pinterest or tumblr, after a while you'll find sites with endless streams of this stuff, more than you'll ever be able to make use of.
