I suggest removing his hand from lifting her leg and just letting both legs on the right rest on the bed.
That or you could rotate the entire drawing of the people while keeping the background still so they look more vertical and their hip angle lines up with the bed angle.

unfortunately i might've bit off more than i can chew in my attempts to draw a character laying down from above, no real clue how to gesture that, like all the mumbo jumbo in my head is about following the weight x motion of the character but viewing somebody lying down from above is like ???

regardless tried moving things around a bit but still feels unsatisfactory, tried a few more quick thumbnails to explore other possibilities, might move on to something else and come back to this later

i always landmarked the bellybutton by imagining a band around the top of the illiac crest and plotting it there. i do need to study the landmarks of the chest more tho, right now i'm just kinda guessing/moving marks around until they feel right/thinking purely in proportions

I think foreshortening would help, maybe arch the back, give him a little contrapposto, add some folds and wrinkles in the sheets to convey his body weight. Give him presence!

perspective is the most fundamental of all fundamentals. everything is affected by perspective. every-thing. If you can't figure out how this works, then you should really pick up some beginner art books. and maybe also broaden your general views about the world a bit. not just in regards to art.

Ok, I get that. I thought the pose I chose with her being eye level wouldn't bring on any discrepancies, but now I see the flaws you're getting at (the shoulder, the pelvis, ext) how they aren't related to the anatomical issues (boobs, face,deltoids, ect.). I'll be more careful to box out my underdrawing rather than focusing so hard on the curves.

Is he demure, lacivious, aloof, what's his motivation? If you can convey that to a viewer through their gaze, their posture, it allows a viewer to connect with the subject and it's sensuality.

That's the emotional part of it, the physical part just comes out of what you're into. You "know" what looks good, you taste is great! Now quantity it. Seems like you're into twink boys, what are their attributes? Look at art, look at many mediums. How does a writer describe the arch of his back, his lithe dancer's body?How would you draw that?

I generally plot the idea of where I want them to go, depending on who is doing what in the picture. might have an idea of how I want the interaction to look depending on the piece, though I'm perhaps not the greatest. I've just kinda gone to imagining the scene in whole regardless of angle, in a way.

Also, your drawing has a really nice gesture and sense of weight. You could benefit from designing your anatomy a bit better (form and shape) and facial studies - Loomis, Hampton, the Reilly method.

Well, I'm going to have to agree with you on a few points here. I don't think ANYONE could truly give proper advice about porn because well, it's porn. It's not like we're trying to draw the Mona Lisa here, am I right?

Yes, I most certainly could have a better understanding of the fundamentals still, but, without a proper reference picture about what you're talking about, I cant see what YOUR vision of what a good drawing is.

Drawing animu faces like a copy cat doesn't help my case here either, but I'm glad I can. Sure, porn doesn't entail being able to draw pretty faces, but it sure does help to some extent, so I'm not caught up worrying about what face I'm going to draw, when indeed I do, draw porn.

I do have to thank you though, for continuing to be an example of how someone should treat a good critique on their work. I appreciate it anon, thanks again.

It's simple, and it certainly gets the point across. If she's sweating profusely I mean. That's one hell of a workout she had.

It's a little difficult to grasp the emotion of the illustration. She's sweating, but why? Remember that a visual narrative is just as important as a written one.

And I'm sure it's something you can go back and edit this, but the hemline of the shirt is missing just underneath her rib cage. Nothing you can't go back and fix.

Also, take into account that the shirt should be taught against her back, rather than it just hanging like it is, if it's being pulled from the front like that, or else we're to understand that she's wearing a shirt MUCH larger than she is, which is okay, too.

If she's small cupped, then I'd imagine there being some form of nipple showing, unless she's a fuller bust, which would then indicate a REAL stretching of the shirt and her breast...overflowing outward. That wouldn't be possible with a larger shirt, right? It just wouldn't make sense to have the shirt tight in some places, and relaxed in others.

And, unless you're going to draw her face from a profile, ear should be moved more to the left. But I may be wrong, so just check your guidelines.

now about answering your questions. your art is mediocre, but you have some mileage and experience. tho what you lack most is more mileage, as right now your stuff can't be considered appealing. the first image has an appealing face, but just because you copied the style of another artist. the second character you posted has a flat face that is atrocious to look at.
you have to learn what makes female faces appealing. you have to learn how to stylize properly. you have to learn when to stop adding details and give the viewer freedom to finish the strokes. line economy.
and secondly you have to do more construction and anatomy studies as you are winging a lot of areas of the body while not being able to convey proper depth.

tl;dr what you need is more grinding.

You would do better if you had some reference material to base your drawing off of. Visit vipersets.net. There you'll find an ass load of reference material for you to use, study from, and for those of you starting off, something for you to copy to get a better hold on your work.

You don't have to download every set of pictures, just browse the categories, take a look at something you like and download the picture individually.

You still need a lot of work, but that comes with practice. You'll get better if you use a reference picture, rather than trying to draw from your imagination right now, which had no idea what a body looks like.

I found this similar pose on /s/. You can find reference pics just about anywhere.
