People aren't equal anon. But being in peak physical condition, and developing high skills in art are both achievable by most if you're willing to put in the effort. He was, so it's perfectly fair. There's no cure for your shit genetics tho.

I don't think it's that half the people don't like him and find him dated. You forget that Frazetta had a long and prolific career and did produce a lot of garbage pieces and a lot of it is severely dated. The people who call him dated think of this work, and the people who think he isn't dated are thinking of his best pieces which still hold up really well.

those things you control. it isn't a question of fairness.
Unless you have some fucked up disease/brain issue (not talking depression/anxiety, I mean incapable of rational thought) or birth defect, then you have no real excuse.
Even if you have an iffy face most people can over look that if you work out, don't dress/smell like shit, and don't have a shit personality.

People have started with less than you and been more successful, people have started with more and been less successful.

None of this is necessarily easy, but thats why most people don't end up as success stories.

100% of what makes somebody attractive is having good genetics. Working out and shit like that only enables that, but it's doesn't grant it.

Frazetta really loves that female pose (which Shane Gline pointed out with an image of a pin up female doing that exact pose). I doubt Frazetta traced it, but did a bang up job of replicating it.

His wife used to model for him, but as she got older she probably was less inclined to do so. Plus Frazetta was able to have the skill to do so without a model and relied on photo reference if need be.

Most of us aren't such massive genetic failures that are faces are truly, irredeemably ugly. Unless your face is literally deformed (FAS, injury, etc) or just absurdly ugly (like 5 in a 100 ugly), you can look good if you lose weight, get fit, dress nice, get a good haircut, grow a beard. And of course, have a likeable personality.
