Hello /ic/
I'm new here and i would like to learn how to draw things like

>Girls in anime type of style.
>Landscapes like pic related
>Portraits

i know it's going to take a while but if anyone here could link me a guide or give me tips to start drawing the things i listed above it would be appreciated.
I'm sorry if this thread annoyed anybody.

Yeah, it's called the sticky. You can find it in the OP thread.

Give me some of your artist influences in return as payment. Your favorite artists or even favorite pieces.

I read the /ic/ guide and i would like to create original images not just simply copy another guy's work to see how good i can imitate his.
It's pointless.

You clearly haven't read then if that's what you take from it. Read it again and this time the whole thing.

Or you're pointless to help.

It's basically learn how to copy and keep doing it until it looks like the real life or original copy one..
Nothing but simple copy no imagination no nothing.

Well i guess i won't keep trying thanks for the advice,i guess.

I actually love this painting. So many small subtle things to spot. Who is it by?

Can't tell if the background is supposed to be a mountain with surrounding clouds or just clouds with a mountain shaped cloud

Even though in some cases this is true, that is because that's just kinda how it is at the beginning. If you're starting out and wanna make some OC that doesn't look too bad, my suggestion would to create a rough outline of your imaged "soon to be" original creation and set that as your first layer with low opacity (or draw lightly for paper). Next, let's say you have a tree, look up multiple trees and, don't copy them exactly, but maybe combine 2-3 trees together into one or take a couple and do them in your own style with whatever differences you want in it (i.e. adding apples or more branches or changing the color). Now you have a swing set, just copy that shit who fucking cares, but there's also a girl on the swing, use references to get the base guideline for said girl down, and then draw the rest (hair, clothes, expression) how you want them to be.

tl;dr: compile multiple referenced pictures into one big OC in your own style and preference.
