Is the Huion H610 Pro worth getting?

I heard great things about it but I'm not too happy with getting chinese sutff and heard the drivers were complete ASS

What does /ic/ think?

the size is good, drivers are ass yea
had problems with windows 10 when i upgraded, it started giving me really jagged lines
also the pen is really fragile, much more than a wacoms
so if you´re a clumsy fuck like me and you drop it once it just fucking dies

this and lage in general (straight lines instead of curves). have a huion, bought a medium sized wacom to use in place of it. slightly smaller but worth

great, but the driver fucks up way too often. sometimes you'd be working and something will feel off. your stuff will start looking shittier and you'll be wondering what's going on. and it turns out that your driver fucked up and you're getting this mish mash of 50% opacity pressure for no reason. fuck, I should've bought a wacom

i have the basic 610, didn't have any problems with drives even after switching to win 10
i can't compare it to other tablets performance wise because i haven;t tried anything else, but for now that's enough for me
desu op, and many ppl who ask the same question, if you can't afford wacom rn or anywhere in the near future just get the huion, 60 or 70 $ isn't gonna offset you back by much for saving for a better tablet but you at least will have something to draw and practice till you get one which makes it worth on it's own.

lmao. I 'heavily' used my wacom for vidya (and when I get raged becaus of noobs I bang the pen tip or bang the pad with my fist full force) and still werks.

I suggest just get the intuos manga (or whatever brand it's called atm).

>wacom shilling
There is no lag, the stylus is sturdy, everything works, stop being a lying faggot.

I have mine for around 2 years and I dragged it across the world in cabin luggage, never had a problem.

The only driver issue I've had is having to open settings and reapply the sensitivity setting every time the PC reboots, while my old wacom driver had to be killed and restarted once a week because it'd stop working and display that annoying fucking message

Also, no, there are better models now

does it work on linux

Save up and get a wacom

I wouldn't settle for anything less, and I'm saying this as someone who tried other brands (not Huion though). Wacom has a monopoly for a reason

>> No.2901294

I've been using it for 3 years now with no problems. On windows 7

Never run into that problem and I've thrown it across the room on multiple occasions.

>> No.2901813

Been using mine for a few years and it's just as good as the Wacom I had before it except for the pen which I wish also had an eraser.

Only problem I ran into were the newest drivers which fucked it up on windows 10 but I went back two updates and it's fine again.

post it here because no tablet general
ok i'm done with this tablet
pen pressure drive are fucking up every time

funny thing is if i test a tablet in tablet driver
afterwards it works normally
i honestly don't recommend this tablet. i can realize why this tablet only sells in gookland and chinkmainland

what about another chink tablet or used wacom?

Kinda.
Making pressure sensitivity actually work can be a bitch, but it usually works.

You need to move the slider and click ok every time you reboot, or it defaults

>> No.2904083

i use a turcom, its a huion thats re-branded. they work pretty well, only problem is drivers. you have to fiddle with them sometimes, but once its working it works for a while. way cheaper than a wacom, and i would say its worth it if you are on a budget.

>> No.2904326

Works great for me but I'm a complete noob, I guess it's a good beginner's tablet because it's like 1/3 or less the price of a Wacom.

>> No.2905161

>>2900854
i fucking stepped on my wacom tablet and pen by accident and it still works perfectly. did i just get lucky?

>> No.2905232

I have one, they're good but i needed at replacement chord at one point. Great for the price.

The driver only has a bad rep for conflicting with wacom drivers if you have it installed already.

For some reason I only got it to work on Paint Tool SAI, but other than its annoying drivers it works fine. Buttons are pretty nice, too.
