I just looked up my high school art teacher's salary and it is just under 50k for just teaching there full time.
I remember I had an english teacher who had 10+ years of experience and she only made about 70k.

Anyways, high school art classes are shit and the teachers aren't always professional (or even good) artists. But holy shit, kids like >>2892139 are so dense, it's infuriating.

My school's size is over 3,000 and if at least 400 kids are in art courses, those proces rack up. Not to mention kids take art supplies and never bring them back.
