I dropped out of HS when I was a junior because all I did was draw in class, then i found Feng Zhu's design cinema on youtube and watched all of those while drawing along on my other monitor, i picked up a lot of techniques subconsciously and it took around a year to get the basic hanging of painting. and another year to make them interesting. i consumed a lot of visual entertainment when I was a neet and drew at least a few hours a day 5 or 6 days a week. all self taught never took online or real classes. I just studied art and artists. I still have a long way to go but Im hoping to grind more on top of my job.

TL;DR: build a visual library, find artists you like, and draw a bit every day.

Wake up real early in the morning, drink good coffee, put on some nice rain and thunder track or something. Draw or paint for a few hours, maybe watch some good visual entertainment while you eat and then go back to it until you feel satisfied or mentally dry that day
