I feel like this is the right thread to ask, where do you usually get commissions to draw peoples OCs and DnD characters?
I want to charge around 80euros for a full body painting. Is this a lot for decent quality in a realistic style?
I know that people do free requests on /tg/, but I want to make money and there are so many artists that earn money on painting OCs.

It's all about popularity and skills

The more watchers / followers you got the most likely they will commission you. And you can charge for a commission depending on your skills.

I'm not sure of the hourly rate but like a good artist could get 80-100$ for a full body picture.

I've seen some furry artists getting 400$ for a full body.
So if you're really good then you can do a couple of commissions a month and get that amount.

The more people want your stuff the more you are able to charge. One of my favorite artists is a porn artist The Pit. Even though his technical skills are not very good at all he produces something with a niche style that no-one copies successfully. He never really posted on any social media and was hidden behind a paywall for years. This is what he gets after he started a patreon about a year ago. He's one of the fortunate ones though.

Are you able to generate the demand that people are willing to pay top buck for your stuff?

If you live in the US, you have to file self employment tax if you earn over $400 annually. This is for income that isn't reported in a W2

Deviantart as far as I remember is like saturated with artists... you got vultures there sitting on the forum ffor job offers waiting for a new thread to pop so they can Copy / Paste their Services. They even do that on unrelated shit that it pisses me off. Like you'll see a thread asking for a LOGO design and you'll see some dumb ass posting services for anime art... wtf

Anyway best way on dA is to get popular , find your niche and get watchers for that niche ( go to groups or forums or chat even if that still exists ) and then tell them you do commissions.
