What are some good examples of linework from digital art? Doesn't matter if it's finished or rough but looking for the black(or any dark color) and white line work

I think that's an older drawing.
There was a time a few years ago that a lot of latino weebs drew like that.
Some retard from Brazil had a similar style doing a fantasy comic.

That doesn't look as bad as Sycra though, it's just taking its cues from 90's anime.

It's not butthurt, I was replying to the same superman back then too.
Both styles remind me the same and I know it's what a lot of latino did while trying their hand at manga.

this might sound weird but here I go.
Something I like about lineart is fixed width, you know, when certain area the line gets thicker and then goes back thin. Is there a theory to when is a good time to apply a thicker line? I am working on this drawing right now and I really want to make the whole lineart to look good

>> No.2811526

>>2811497
always work thin to thick anon. it's easier to thicken a thin line you already put down, as opposed to erasing away at a thick line to make it thinner.

it really depends on what effect you're trying to get. Line weight can do a few different things

>indicate shadow
pretty self explanatory, dark areas have thicker lines, light areas have thinner.

>indicate depth
generally, people will read something with thicker lines as being closer in space and thinner as being further away.

>direct attention
also self explanatory. People will pay attention to contrast in line weight

That being said, using a singe, even line weight isn't necessarily a bad thing. In Franco-Belgian comic traditions it's very common to use a single line weight for everything

any of these responses would suffice.

or you could do the smart thing and apply these (>>2811601) techniques when drawing from a reference or doing a figure study sacrifice a little bit of realism to practice the ever important linework. but dont do this >>2809560. thats stupid.
