>$350

Get a used Intuos Large ffs

>"I don't actually want to spend that much money"

Get the Huion Giano ffs

>> No.2757439

Have fun with a crappy chink tablet if you get anything other than intuos. Or you could just turn a blind eye to the obvious downfalls and just get a chink tablet. It's not like your going to be drawing enough to find out the difference anyway

A used or refurbished Surface Pro 1 or 2? I've had one for a few years and it makes a nice knock-off cintq, got it for about $350.

There's no such thing as "too big"-but you should be mindful of what your work area can accommodate. Holistically speaking though, the closer the size of the tablet to your monitor's screen, the better. The Giano and Intuos Large are both as close to the same drawing feel as a traditional medium or a Cintiq as it getswithout using either. In some ways though, they're even better.

If you dont think that Large is too big, you dont know how to draw. Thats all there is to it.
Medium is the best size for a desk tablet. You can go bigger with monitor ones.

Nah, I'll pass. An Intuos Large is functionally identical to a Cintiq, and I don't have to leave my arm in a perpetual roman salute or hunch over my desk like Quasimodo to use it. It's long past time we stopped perpetuating the Cintiq meme.

Nigga ive had two different huions and an xppen. You try both out side by side and see what a few dollars more gets you.
