Study fashion for costume design (keep it street), environments and perspective to maintain viewer interest (urban environments seem to be the thing) and get one other aspect to combine with it - military, school, whatever.

Aside from that, a few... "Master" studies ought to help you get the style down.

50% fundamentals 50% stylization
you see a lot of people drawing anime who lack fundamentals (think of garbage DA weeb art), but you also see a lot of artists who have decent fundamentals, but their stylization is extremely lacking, resulting in very unappealing art; and anime is ALL about appeal. if you want to draw good anime you NEED to practice both a lot.

you should try to study a lot of good anime art. try and figure out why they make certain stylistic choices, and also how they imply form with line and line weight. make sure you're studying good artists or you'll fuck yourself.

half the time the perspective of the face is literally the opposite of the head, and the other half the face simultaneously shows 2 perspectives
