I feel it's a bit like how people on /fit/ will work out for years and get an incredible body and think that it will magically get them women, but even after their physical transformation they are still autistic with social things so are just as lonely.

So with drawing, yes I have impressed women with it at life drawing and things. Somehow this happened to me a lot in high school. Basically I was the resident "artist" of the school and a lot of girls would always ask me about my drawings and how I was going. And when I say girls, I mean girls that would normally hang out with Chads instead of the more "nerdy" crowd I usually hang out with.

The key part was that despite my introverted personality, I could actually hold a conversation with them. It became frequent enough that some of the girls would regularly say hi or check up on me regardless of whether or not I'm drawing something (some even asked me where my sketchbook was when I didn't feel like drawing at times). In fact, at one point one of them even teasingly took one of my artworks (a Batman fanart of all things) while teasing me to chase after her.

I think it helped that I was actually pretty /fit/ at the time which also led to girls wanting to pair up with me during sports/dance activities. That said, I wasn't interested in getting a girlfriend at the time so I never went after anyone.

Kinda sucks that I was too autistic that I didn't hit it off with anyone back then.
