The best is just a matter of how much you apply yourself and take the program seriously. There is no "best" school.

depends on your goals. For most things it comes down to your portfolio. But I'd say
>art center
>fzd
Good for concept art type stuff or industrial design focused things
>cal arts
Would probably give you a shit load of contacts in the animation industry
>places like watts atelier
Would probably make you really skilled fine arts wise. Idk about contacts or job opportunities tho.

At the end of the day, if you don't want to pay out your ass for college or risk getting a degree in art, then just pirate the best books, put in the time, and git gud.
