ITT we study other Artists that successfully stylize a figure and correctly "break the rules".

Use everything you've learned to draw the figure in your own interpretation, do not copy it like a xerox machine instead get the idea behind the figure and retell it in your own way.

Something tricky to start off, using anatomy and keeping it simple without being too jarring.

I don't think there is any particular thought put into the stylization by the artist. There is no exaggerated rhythm and shape design of the anatomy, no understanding of pinch and stretch etc. It's a regular sexy female figure with the torso being too long and the obliques not connecting properly to the pelvis. I honestly fail to see what anyone could possibly learn from that one.

If you want to study stylized anatomy, you need to study artists who are actually good at it, not any random faggot from pixiv or deviantart.

Hence why I said do not copy it draw it with your own interpretation meaning you draw it with your knowledge and what you feel would work best. I know Wokada has his flaws which is why I chose him it gives more room for interpretation on what something can look like.

I thought the point of this thread was to learn something from artists who are really good at stylized anatomy? What's the point of taking a bad drawing, using the overall pose and then drawing it how you would draw it? Either you are a better artist and can use your knowledge to fix those mistakes, at which point you are basically just doing a redline, or you are a worse artist and you might not only not learn anything from it, but pick up those flaws yourself.

Even if that were a proper "stylization" the overly rendered body with the flat animu face and hair is really jarring and disturbing. That's not how you do stylization, that's how you give everyone an Uncanny Valley feeling.
