Right here familia, finished sending all of that out a few days ago to friends. Fucked up on mom-in-law's card but she didn't mind/care that much since she liked the overall sentiment about it - that or the set of wine coasters I made for her.

Two firsts. A table easel and a set of 48 prismacolors. The easel is better then I expected, feels nice and sturdy though I haven't used it yet. I'm stoked about the prismacolors. Time to struggle with 'wasting' the pencils and also needing to use them to get better.

Never played with them, would love some tips if anyone's got some. Scribbled a little, they feel amazing.

sorry to hear that. I haven't given it a serious test drive yet, but I'm pretty happy with it so far. Seems like the reviewers saying 'it's worth every penny' were right. Was already assembled, though missing one of the wingnuts. Not gonna sweat it, should be easy enough to find a replacement. Feels nice and sturdy, good size (a little bigger then i thought it'd be), and the drawer can be taken out easily. It's not polished-smooth, but it's not so rough that I want/need to sand it. I've never had one of these so I don't know much about them, but it seems like a solid choice. Good luck saving up for one and/or waiting. I'll try to enjoy it twice as much for you, anon.

I got some Chinese black ink. Pic related, exact same product. With some brushes as well, 4 different sizes.

I do speak and can write an asian language but am not interested in calligraphy very much. I'm wondering if I couldn't find it an artistic use to it though, been pondering on this.

Got a Kindle Fire HD, anyone know a decent stylus for drawing on one of these?

>> No.2332044

>>2332034
I used to draw with one of those stylus that had the rubber on the end.... completely felt like drawing with an eraser. I got so mad that I went through the house searching for alternatives and surprisingly I found one. A AA battery(plus side) draws pretty well on screen.

Eventuallt I got a note 10.1 and I find it usable. You have to be really dedicated to use it because like the rest of note owners(phone and tablet) I works best for rough sketches and not necessarily serious peices, unless you are willing and it DOES take willpower.

So coming from my experience with drawing on tablets I assume you might be trying to use it for serious pieces as well. I just want to warn you, you might feel disappointed a bit.

Good Luck.

I still find it a problem there is no universal pressure sensitive stylus for tablets yet ipad has all the support (pencil, 53 paper, bamboo).

More or less I just want to use it for rough animations while chilling out. I have a cintiq for the serious stuff luckily.

By any chance did you try a dagi stylus? It's the one I'm looking at now, though 20 bucks is a bit steep for a stylus. Still, I'm willing to shell that out if it's decent.

Nice, never heard of it. Might not work with my Samsung note tablet.

My problem was that I was going to get an aftermarket S pen myself for my tablet because it had an eraser, but every review I read told how bad the offset was, So I eventually left it alone and kept drawing with this toothpick Samsung calls a stylus.

>> No.2332110,1 [INTERNAL]

Love your drafting table. That is exactly what I need to use as an easel...assuming it can tilt up enough. Still looking though.
