Since unfinished drawings seem to be the theme, this is one of mine from approximately ten years ago. I think. I had an obsession with Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass, and our library was holding an illustration contest that I never actually entered. This was supposed to be the banquet the red and white queens were holding for Alice.

In 4th grade I spent all school year working on a PPG ripoff comic. I was bullied a lot that year and the comic was kind of a safe place for me to go mentally I guess.

This shows some weird progression, the bottom is the oldest iirc, then left, right and top. I actually dated the ones on the top and right, June 09 and March 20th of 2009, respectively, so yeah I was 14. The vidya influence should be pretty clear. I think around this point I started browsing here actually and was told to read Loomis.

yes it's crayon. But not canvas. It's a thick paper, like you would use for acrylics. It's funny, though. looks a bit like canvas because it's all actually really tiny so you can see the structure of the paper. One page is maybe smaller than my hand (and I have tiny girl hands)
