And his point? That's someone's personal style that they learned to work with. Not everyone from there has the same style.

i fear for the future of our nation when i see the popularity of this show among young adults. Your mother and father didn't watch children's shows as adults, neither should you. Grow up America. We need real men and women to run this country.

>Grow up America.

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”

― C.S. Lewis
>We need real men and women to run this country.
Yeah, because having fun mean you aren't a real man. Life's gotta be sterile and boring and serious all the time.

So it's okay to hand the keys to a bunch limpwristed 20something males who dye thier hair pink, fwap to pony fandom, and tell you they really really like "playing" with your kids? I wouldn't want to tell them to grow up. I don't want to be the bad guy who tells the hedonist brats to "grow up".

And why shouldn't they, what do adults watch? The news? Terrible sitcoms? Adults can do whatever the fuck they want you.

So we have to be miserable life drained adults in order to be a real man or woman or have the capability to steer a nation to the idealistic norm that you fantasize?

I understand that the fandom culture is degenerate and full of manbabies and bronies, but just cause i wanna watch Cartoon Network after a long day in the office or school doesn't make you a "real man" or "woman"?

It's people like you that make me encourage kids to stay immature and enjoy their youth for as long as possible. Scrooges like you usually grow up too fast and i can imagine how boring and sad it would be living in a city with a bunch of you's. There is such a thing as Adult cartoons, and everyone watches them. Actually cartoons and video games were originally marketed to adults.

Both the animation and world building are high tier, even if the art style is too garish for the average person.

I wonder if you can get a scholarship by having a competent animation project or two in your portfolio, I think I'm going to try that. Calarts opens doors, if any school is worth ruining your life over it's that one.
