I am sure being featured on HF is cool especially because of the esposure you receive, but in temrs of determining the artwork quality I don't think being featured there does mean a lot. I see lots of mediocre art being showcased there, and I'm still not really sure what is their selection criteria based upon.

You don't see Bisley, Vallejo, Ciruelo, Brom or Frances' art around anymore. The whole 80's western fantasy/sci-fi crew's art became anacronistic exept for the one dude who drew erotica.

Since then he's made a point to be extremely careful about what he posts on tumblr. There are some annoying furries/ponyfaggots who go around reporting people who draw ponies or underage, because it's against the ToS. Is it fair? not really, but it still breaks the rules.

THE PROBLEM is Steven Universe faggots/sjws.
There is a new trend of SJWs being offended at cartoon porn. It's mostly SU fans because I guess they have nothing better to do than be offended all day...and since they're so deep in a fandom that has nothing that triggers them (if you've seen the show it has a lot of things they like) they've decided the new way to victimize themselves is by making a crusade against the NSFW community on tumblr.

Since really, tumblr is heavily segregated in that there are specific communities that really only interact with eachother, sjws and the NSFW community being two prominent ones.

But they will go out of their way to look up SU porn and start instigating the artist, and if they are ignored they'll collect together and mass-report you. I've had the same thing happen to me.

Doxy is really popular and his SU comic got a lot of attention, a lot of attention from the wrong demographic.

This is why you have to tread carefully on tumblr, because you can poke the beast if you're not careful.

If your art is good, you'll get a following just fine if you choose to drop tumblr and move to another community more suited for NSFW, see pixiv (learn moonspeak you lazy piece of shit).
