I want to do erotic commissions but I want to remain anonymous on paypal. What can I do? How do other artists go about doing this?

>> No.2151869

Do they use a business account?

>> No.2151912

>anonymous paypal
No such thing exists.

then how do artists remain anonymous

They use a pen name and send their clients an invoice with an instruction not to leave feed back.

Paypal is not going to let you hide your identity when it comes to money.

>> No.2151934

>>2151933

right, so then you're saying I should setup another paypal but with an alias as my name?

>> No.2151940

>>2151933
Paypal kinda frown on that.

>> No.2151973

I am also interested in that topic.
Is there no alternate service? Bitcoin doesn't count, I don't trust that.

I use nothing but Paypal and I've used it for the past 3 to 4 years for commissioned work. Not one single client has ever left a note or message when they've paid me. I don't do porn (yet), so it wouldn't matter anyway.

I have seen people posting payoneer around, it supposed to let you create an account with just a username and a password and then
you can receive money there and spend them with the visa that they give you online or withdraw at an atm, i don't have any personal experience with it tough.

What about Paypal alternatives like Stripe?

Stripe sounds interesting, anyone else use it?

This might work. Set up an account with a fake name. You won't be able to make invoices or link it to a bank, but you can receive money there and send it from there to your real paypal account. It's a pain but otherwise no matter what you do if you send it from your real account they will be able to see the name the account is under.

>>2152337
Can you really receive money and spend them online if the account is unconfirmed? if yes then that all i need really, i already have
a income, i was thinking of making some money on the side to buy stupid things like cute plastic from japan and things that i would otherwise wouldn't want to spend
my real income to.

You could always legally change your name.

>> No.2152431

Make a normal account
upgrade to business

your clients will only see the business name, unless you enable them to see your real name

there, only advice you need in this thread.

Make a patreon and do commissions from there

and the email address, obviously.

>> No.2152601

>>2152443
How does that work exactly? I thought patreon was money from all patrons per month/per work.

>> No.2152962

>>2151981

I tried this with a friend but the money request details still come up with my name.

It lets you set up rewards for certain amounts of pledging. I.E. you normally sell commissions for $80, so if someone offers that for the month, he gets a commission.

>> No.2153674

>>2153455
Is there a way to limit the amount of money that you get? so that you don't end up with a backlog that you can't keep up with.

>> No.2154721

>>2153674
Yes. I see commonly things like 10 out of 10 taken.

>> No.2154722

>>2154721
That sounds good i'll look into it.
