I just traveled to LA from Hong Kong
My tablet doesn't work after I arrived, I am quite sure it is broke during the flight.

Do anyone now is there any place to repair it in Los Angles?
I tried google it but it seems I cannt figure out...........

ok , going to phone them tmr.
It is weird that I cannot google out any official supporting office in LA.

I mean, there should be some office that you can go and drop your tablet and let people repair it or things like that.

Even some small IT product company do have these kind of repair office in HK

Non third world areas in Asia like HK, urban China, Singapore all have really good tech offices because shit is made in China and it's really close. There's also just an all around revolving technology in Asia for some reason you don't see as much in USA

I used to think that USA is a much technology advanced country. But it feels IT support is worse than Asia. And here people think building their own PC is a professional thing..................

>But it feels IT support is worse than Asia.

That is because IT support is outsourced to Asia and to bumfuck Egypt and back.

I just called wacom , the phone is responded quickly.

The guy said that there is no single one repair office in the whole US !!
And said basically everyone buy wacom from internet ( is that true ?! )

He just bullshit and said he can send me a new pen if i can not fix it through some retard procedure.

My Indian roommate said the supporting service in India is similar to HK, there are office to put down IT product.

I mean, US is a technology advanced country, u are building exo-skeleton to solider and having android planes to kill terrorist and at the same time the IT support here is just like shit.
Thats not making sense

It would make more sense to just replace it rather than perform costly "repairs" that would take man hour and labor. The same is true for vehicles nobody overhauls engines anymore they just remove and replace.

blame labour costs. and the way people treat tech in NA. Replace rather than repair.

uninstall the Wacom drivers completely or test it out on another computer. If your feeling adventurous take a voltage reader and inspect the pcb for any shorts. Most of the time its just the usb cable. people just leave them plugged in or if its a bamboo then you might need to re solder a new one on to it.

i blame the artificially overpriced dollar exchange rate. you can take advantage of it, by living in a 3rd world country.
