So I forgot how to draw, I've probably been drawing since I was a little tyke. I've been trying to improve and improve but I hit the brick wall. I never actually took the time to learn the basics. Does anyone know where to start for basics or good practices to do?

I'd say this is a good place to start-

Just practice basic shapes and lines until you're confident, then I'd start doing gesture drawings to learn basic anatomy and form. I seriously recommend the book Drawing Lessons From The Great Masters. Just remember to always think of what you're drawing as a 3D form, or you'll get used to symbol drawing and forever draw deviantart tier shit.

I am studying Michael Hamptons Design and Invention book. Its easy to understand and study. I downloaded the pdf from this link

After this book you can study Loomis or Vilppu.
I prefer Loomis. And after Loomis study Vilppu. After Vilppu practice what you have learned.

If you need digital painting tutorials for free I suggest checking ctrlpaint. They are free tutorials so no complaining.
