I pretty much only do digital painting so these aren't really set for inking type things. Anyway, these are the only 3 brushes I ever use, always in conjunction with each other.
Left is a blocky brush. I reduce the texture level when the brush size is small, since it overpowers it and you can't see anything. And only density unchecked.
Middle is a generic round brush with some texture too. Dens/Size/Blend all checked.
Right is a pen. Used rarely.
