cast shadows are hard, form shadows are soft (save the obvious hardangles you'll occasionally run into), don't be afraid to mess around with color gradiations an stuff on flat layers under the shading (they didn't do that there, but it'll add a more natural feel to the skin tones), look up bounce lighting as well. use multiple layers to keep things simple an clean as the way that you're makin me feel tonight an then merge them when happy with the results to avoid buildin up too many layers. also, don't use pure white as your speculars unless you want shit to be shiny as latex. if that's what you're into, fine, but i'd jus use a super faded, possibly more or less saturated (depended on the lightin) shade of the base tone, maybe more towards the color of the light source/surroundins/whatever color would look best with the composition.

Games and art should be allowed to show whatever the hell they want. Humans have the blessed ability to get our kicks vicariously so we can lead normal lives in the real world, it's stupid to put limits on that, but if you make a game about raping/shooting up kids and people don't want to publish it or buy it, sucks for you. The journalism angle was always bs imo, I never gave credence to glorified bloggers as journalists so I never expected any integrity there. Whatever happens in the realm of fantasy I don't care, what happens in reality matters though. I got into a big debate about this before and this is pretty much what I thought was the best solution, supporting people who make what you want to see. Too many people fall into the whole "let's form a mob and attack!" mindset, and all that does is make everyone angry. Rather than try and shut down what one company wants to do, it's better to use that energy to build up those who are trying to do something different and just need help getting noticed and competing with the big names. That way people who like to play that bland rehashed crap over and over can have what they like, and people who like more can have it too, rather than everyone fighting over some self imposed top spot. I know this seems off topic, but I feel like this applies to how people have been cracking down on nsfw artists lately too.

the only thing i'd personally suggest learnin an takin to heart from loomis is his use of boxes for perspective an shiz, other wise i'd whole wholeheartedly suggest vilppu over him, an personal study of live models/yourself/photos if that's absolutely all you can get. when i first started out drawin an couldn't figure out a pose (which was most of the time) i'd run to the bathroom an stand in front of the mirror an make the pose an then study all the contours an muscles an an how they overlapped themselves an bones an joints an all that, an then i'd run back to my room an draw, which forced me to come up with "shortcuts" where i'd deconstruct the body in my head so that i could more easily reproduce it from memory instead of bein stuck directly copyin. for example, if you can only get a photo for ref, study it intently for a period, then try drawin it without lookin at it an remember the parts that you get to where your mind is jus like "fuck i have no idea how this is supposed to look" an then when you're done, compare it to the photo an figure out those parts you blanked on. lather rinse an repeat. now this isn't supposed to replace regular studies where you can keep lookin at your ref/model/whatever, but a study tool to help you draw from your imagination

Even still, everything is wrong about that image. From anatomy to construction in general, it's pretty much a mess. Even a quick sketch should be better constructed than that considering it's the foundation of the entire drawing. Get to studying, Be it from real life models, lewd artists you like, or both (the preferred option if you really want to git gud). Being close to intermediate is enough to make money off drawing lewd. You don't have to be advanced because getting someone's dick hard doesn't take advanced artistic ability.
