I so regret even torrenting this shit and feel sorry for my HDD that it had to endure the presence of several gigabytes of this kind of garbage photos for so long before I got around browsing through them. .

Yeah, the foot in OP is totally normal, gl drawing from those refs and wonder all the time if this is correct or if the lens is fucking you over.

There are thousands and thousands of free ref pictures, and paid good ones available online, why the fuck would you use Scroto ones. Unless u are Scroto of course.

I guess the hot tatooed chicks tits are the only reason. Yeah, they are nice.

Also another thing I noticed, why in the fuck does Prokopenko have his model sessions arranged in such a way that ground plane is so overexposed its not visible and so that establishing perspective is additionally retarded apart from crazy lens distortion? Is he actually actively trying to make worst possible ref photos?

They are used to exaggerate perspective because regular photos tend to be quite flat. Also artists should be able to draw a figure from imagination in whatever lense they want to use for the scene. If all you do is study flat, easymode ref photos, you will never be able to draw more extreme perspective distortions when you WANT to draw them in your actual work.

Maybe when you get a bit more experienced you will notice that studying isn't all about copying a photo the easiest way possible.

The exaggeration helps, it compensates for lack of depth perception, for example in posemaniac sometimes it's very hard to tell how the body is oriented in 3d space.
