I've been working on this and i just want some opinion on how this is going.

I think i have poor knowledge on light and values and shit like that.

Also, first time posting here, so i don't know exactly what i'm doing

All of your highlights and shadows cling to the edges of your lines rather than describe the shape of the form, like some sort of flat relief carving. The hands are crazy. Take some photos of your own hands in those positions. Study and use that as reference. I would highly recommend getting a hold of some reference in general.

this is misleading, for a beginnr, as they may think they need to use full contrast from the start. you can actually build up from the left, thats where the real skill comes in to use shaodws and highlights well.
