Been getting comments that my drawings look soft, which I assume is a good thing. Sometimes I worry that the lack of detail and messiness is detrimental to the quality. I save massive amounts of time by using thick lines and essentially coloring my sketch.

Wondering if spending more time for a cleaner result would be beneficial for smut pictures like this.

The way I see it, your present style is pretty effective for quicker stuff. There's definite value to being able to draw a pretty solid looking piece quickly. If you were taking requests and drawing smut at that quality, I think people would love you.

Naturally, though, a cleaner result might be better for projects you're invested in the quality of, like if somebody was paying you.

I should have maybe mentioned this was with requests in mind - that drawing was a delivery, too. But since it's free art there isn't much room for complaint and some requesters would be happy to receive anything at all. So it's a bit hard for me to judge what quality I should aim at. I like making people happy, so it's not in my interest to do low effort deliveries. In order to output a higher quantity I can't afford to spend too much time on each piece though.

(For commissions I try to offer my utmost best, but that's a different story.)

Every time I try and make lineart with a brush that has constant opacity it looks dead. But when I use a brush with opactiy set to pen pressure its kinda hairy. Then if I try to clean it up it just globs together.

Any advice on lines? Also, hows the anatomy, etc.

Also, it helps to use videos for references for porn and not still images. For me the still images lack passion and story. Just look at what popular artists do for this kind of stuff and try to learn their techniques. This should also help for the lewd side. So far, nothing you did really turns me on. Try to show off the boobs, and make them big, for exemple here. Makes the pupils smaller to show she's surprised. Add more effects. If possible, add a cheek bulge. Penis should be more detailed, even if you're not a fan of them being big that's still necessary for any cock. Tiny AND undetailed penises aren't appealing at all.
Besides : sweating, crying, action lines, blushing... they may not seems that important at first, but that's what makes a big part of the lewdness for a hentai porn pic to me.

You should also pay attention to your composition. Don't just crop away body parts. Floating dicks are kinda awkward so you should avoid it if you can help it. You don't have to draw the entire male, but at least attach the dick to something. Adding his hands somewhere can improve a piece as well.

So a long as it isn't real, I don't see any problems. Of course I agree that a picture can be offensive for whatever reason (not limited to porn: politics and religions are also often invovled), but whatever, are we not allowed to represent things? Some people were killed for drawing the prophet not so long ago. People all around the world are imprisoned for political caricatures.
