So my tablet is pretty new, but I have a couple of questions about it.

I go through nibs really quickly. Seems like it anyway. I am wondering if I am pressing too hard or something.

Also, the pen has recently started being funky when it comes to determining whether it is flipped over or not. So when I turn it upside down to use the eraser end, and vice versa, it sometimes will not recognize that it has been turned over. Anyone else have this problem? It is annoying as hell.

I don't own a tablet, but I remember that there's a really cheap and easy way to make your own nibs using some type of plastic wire/cord or the like. Perhaps someone here has it.

The wacom tablets are criticized for going through nibs really quickly though, if I've heard correctly.

Ah. Good to know. I'll look for that later.

I had to change my first nib after about 40 hours. Change your pressure sensitivity settings.

Also I personally just use the keyboard shortcuts instead of flipping the pen over.

i've been using cutted wooden toothpicks for more than a year without any problem. the tip gets dirty in a few days, but they last months

That sounds about how long it took me to change mine.
Any suggestions for pressure sensitivity? I just use the baseline.

adding a protective layer (like the one you use on cellphone screen) will help to reduce that

I got an Intous Pro a couple of weeks ago and I'm still not comfortable with it. After half an hour of drawing my wrist hurts so much that I have to stop. Any ideas? I had a Bamboo before and haven't had any problems.

Is your arm and hand tense when you draw?
