its a great start, i like what you have but there are definitely many ways you can improve. i would have the objects have more interaction with eachother. Kirby doesnt look like hes standing on a wooden bridge, it just looks like an image of him was placed on it. maybe more interactive shadows rather than shadows to define shape. id add more contrasting shadows in the water if i were you. Keep at it tho

ok, enough with the trolls.

youve done somthing cute op, and for probably one of my favourite nostalgic games. i was the faggot who loved the darth maul double ligtsaber but i digress.

its done better then you would expect. although fundimentaly there is a lack of depth on the walk way, and kirby's perspective is off (its clear he's leaning forward to look over, but with how the boards are running he would be falling over into the water)

ontop of this, there is no sense of distance. I know for a matter of fact that the water lvl is up against the planks. but my prior knowlage of the lvl and the lighting on the rocks suggests the rocks are under the walkway. the gradient you used for the water could be varried more, having other blues between.

other then that, small things i guess. the water would cast reflective light on kirbys face, the fishes and crabs would be distorted exc. but the thing it, all of these things would improve a drawing for kirby and make it more cinematic or well composed, ext. and im not sure you need that for somthing as styleized as kirby. and any /ic/hole who is going to tear into this and say the rocks are fucked and write >loomis is gonna miss the point. maybe its all the boose i drank or the fact its 5 in the morning here or maybe its cute, idk this made me smile op

Good start, here are some things I would look out for
>Vary your line weights. It looks like Kirby clip art, or like you drew it with a mouse.
>Kirbys left hand doesnt blend into his body. It looks like it was just tacked on.
>He is missing the cast shadow on his feet.
>The land kirbys eyes are wobbly, but the water reflection kirbys eyes look perfect (I would have thought it would be reversed)
>the wood texture doesn't look cartoony, it looks like you made some blobs in MS Paint
>the crab, fish thing, and diamond are hyper detailed (almost more than Kirby), but the rocks and wood planks look like after thoughts.
>in general I see a lot of perfect ellipses and inorganic straight edges and circles, like you were spamming the shapes tools. This makes the overall image appear a bit amateurish. Try to draw these forms by hand to unify the whole drawing.

Funnily enough, I drew everything by hand. No shape tools were use here. B) But I will try to vary my lineart weights a bit more. I was trying a different art style here, so I'll keep your words in mind when I try this style again. C:
