It was only $5, and I was never a good at art but somehow that commission turned out particularly shitty. It was just so bad like I wouldn't draw this bad for free how could I do it for money.

The worst part is that the guy who paid me said it was great.

Are you serious? I'll be honest, there are a lot of things I haven't submitted to HF, even for scraps, because I was really paranoid about their screening but I've been kind of testing the lower limits to see where the cutoff is. My last 3-4 submissions weren't even colored at all. I was starting to feel relaxed about it but now I'm paranoid again. And I'm pretty sure even on my couple of colored pictures there were some imperfections like coloring out of the lines and other things. Damn, so hard to get a read on it.

Their idia of quality as i observe is probably a question of if the person tried enough to bring it to a finish, they do not accept quick drawings, but they will accept bad drawings
with neat lineart and pillow shading as long as it looks done and clean, villpu would probably get rejected. Also remember that after a while they give you permission to upload
freely so you sould make a couple of over polished drawings and then upload normaly. I really hate them and would like to remane only on pixiv, all the more now that they banned
loli and shota but at this point they have became the main source if you want to make money with porn on the west.

How do I avoid pictures looking somehow compressed? Pic related, I started drawing it on a very big canvas, after I was done I resized it and saved it as JPG (I also have a PNG version but it looks the same).

Also crit would be cool, I already know I have to work on my lighting.

So, got some questions.

I want to color her as if the light is coming upward from her feet, like a camera flash from below. The problem is I have no models to study to see how that would look, so I'm not sure where the shadows and highlights would be.

Short version: My accountant told me to just fill out the 1st and 3rd page of the WBEN-8 and ignore the 2nd one. If you don't know what the 2nd page is about, then it doesn't apply to you, most likely.

You can ignore the WBEN-8 and still make money for a while. I ignored it all through november and december, and only filled it out when it blocked me from paying out my money in january.
