pls post the most technically impressive picture of an anime girl (since that's what we love of animu) you got in your computer or from the internet.

I'm curious as to what anons consider draftmanship in animu.

it's hard to tell. it's like asking what the highest level of cartoon is.
with some artists you can obviously tell that there is a lot of skill there, but a lot of them focus on very different things and it's hard to compare.

animu art is a bit different from what we usually value though. it's more like cartoons. it's more about what you can do with the style, or what you are depicting with your art instead of how great a single image is.
i find it incredibly hard to find one image or artist that tops everything in every aspect.

I know he's perfectly familiar with using modeling programs for concepts he's done. So probably yes, although whenever he has used it for the concepts he gives credit to his use of it? And I've never seen him give credits on his drawings? Idk.

With all the Loomis thumping and the strive for fundamentals, why have we not managed to replicate these here? The only person I can think of that has come close to the level of skill ITT would be Teal and maybe Temeh but even Temeh has said he wish he could draw moe.

All we ever do is talk about other Artists, has anyone actually gotten to this level of draftsmanship that is from /ic/?

Because it's the people that are the focus in being pixiv star, most anime/manga has blank or static clip art/ filtered-photo backgrounds.
Nobody every wants to be the inker or the background artist, they want to be head mangaka and draw the cuties.

Anime doesn't need to have symbol faces. Even if you want to include symbol faces in your art, you have to understand that you can't make it look super realistic otherwise it looks like shit. I fail to understand why the chinks don't get that.

i'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with love at all.
the truth is, non-porn works are just harder to make. with porn you'll always have the sex, (and with that, you pretty much have the climax of the story!) and you can escalate the sex it in many directions to keep the readers attention. in the end it's mostly about the sex, and the fact that characters can actually have sex. there is nothing overly creative about that. especially when it comes to hiromitsu, i wouldn't say that he is very creative. his manga is generic, and his H is actually pretty generic as well.
you have to be careful when comparing H to normal manga, because your sex drive will always make the H seem better than it is.

you are assuming that they are forced to do it. they are simply NOT.
they want to do it because in the end, having people read and follow your comic is more of an achievement than making people horny with your drawings.
look at it like this: people who like drawing in general, and like drawing sexy girls might be very satified with doing porn and nothing else.
