I have not once said this. This is a strawman argument used to deflect criticism.

Because you ARE. I've mentioned the flat hair before - well over a year ago. Same with the misaligned facial features and flatness. These are all still problems in your work, just as they were when you first came here. You can go back to threads posted last year, and the same criticisms in those threads apply here. Your entire body of work suffers from the same flaws and I've yet to see any genuine improvement, just that same mistakes over and over, even when you presented your "study"(Don't draw what you think see, draw what's really there).

The composition is striking. As for the hair I like it. I thought about adding dimensions but this is obviously abstract. Stop trying to sterilize my art. My paintings aren't that muddy and I've been painting less than a decade. Inb4 post ur work dick-wagging contest. When you say "you don't give credit where credit is due?" Does that mean you want a compliment? I thought you asked for critique earlier, so I wasn't sure.

The mud, anatomy, twinkle eyes, boring subject and composition (oh, a portrait of a female in the center of the canvas who looks a bit like a caveman) have all been mentioned months, maybe years ago, yet these problems persist and you refuse to improve.

It is - the misaligned nose ruins the illusion of depth, as do the flat lips, and the weird brushstroke above the nose. While there are things that DO contribute towards a feeling of depth, there's also enough things that detract from it that the illusion is shattered.

Now I didn't say a damn thing about mud, and I don't really give half a fuck. If you want to work in neutrals that's fine by me.

The nose is out of alignment, the eye is out of place(generally speaking the inner corner of the eye is closer to the top of the nose) + misaligned, the lips are flat, and the proportions are fucked(huge eye, tiny ear). I didn't even mention how you seem to be making a habit out of covering the far side of the face to not have to paint it, which is beginner tier tricks, and harmful habit as best.

Not especially. It's just shy of being completely bullseyed, the most boring sort of composition.

Abstraction is fine, but the problem here is that's the abstraction is applied completely at random and there's nothing holding everything together.

Stop asking for criticism and then making excuses. I think that constitutes a fair exchange. That said, I have nothing to gain by seeing someone fail, and everything to gain by seeing them succeed, as I get to enjoy the work they create.

Decades? Since when? Many artist start in their teen years and are really solid artists in their early-to-mid twenties. Decades, no - A decade, yes. What's more, this is several years of work showing no real improvement. At your pace it's won't be decades, it'll be centuries.

Keep in mind, this is a study - it's not my normal work nor is it close to what I prefer to do, so if you want to jump on the "it's not creative nyeh" train you can stop before you even get out of the station.

Actually, I can see that you are not. The face is completely skewed, the ears ludicrously tiny, the breasts change size strangely, the torso is a hideously short noodle, the far leg looks like it was replaced by a two-by-four, the far shoulder just disappears into nothingness, the near arm is a noodle...really the only good thing here is the values and the drapery, which are genuinely solid.

The fact that the best you can come up with is that his face is pinched, which is a result of the expression, tells me even more. It tells me you can't see the flaws that are plainly obvious to me, like the neck and collarbone.

Your impenetrable ego and arrogance are showing. But like I said, the person you hurt most is yourself - next year, I'll be even better, while you'll be doing the same thing you've been doing for years.
