Unless he had some really bad reconstructive surgery lately, then fucking throw it away. Learn some more and do it again later. It looks like a lumpy child's drawing.

I agree that the image is fundamentally flawed but I think you should fix it and try to learn something. In light of this I've decided to try and do a quick paint-over for you even though I myself am a beginner. This was the best I could do without altering the image too much. Don't take it as gospel; I'm still learning.

First of all when you're drawing a face it can be helpful to mirror it (in Photoshop: Image, Image Rotation, Flip Canvas Horizontal) to make construction flaws more visible. The most obvious problems are that the position of your mouth is skewed pretty far over to the left and the right eye is slanted.

I think the underlying reason for the mistakes is that you haven't drawn enough skulls. It doesn't really look like you understand the planes of the face(not that I do fully).

Though to be fair, it kind of looks like you drew this from a heavily photoshopped picture from a metal magazine or something so maybe that's why the lighting is off. If you used a reference you should post it; it'll help people critique your work in the future.

When drawing the ear keep in mind that its shape resembles a "Y" inside of a "?"

The eyebrow sits on the ridge of the eye-socket closer to the eye and curves above it as it goes towards the ear.

There are facial expressions where the upper teeth aren't visible and I see that you indicated them slightly so I kind of just left them alone. In this position I would imagine that some lower teeth would be showing, however; so I added them. The shape of the lips is very odd.

You should look up the positions of the trapezius and the sternocleidomastoid also; I didn't really do a good job of indicating these but they're important muscles in the neck.

I'm not really sure what that mark is under his right eye(from our view) so I left it. The wrinkles of the eye don't go down that far but if it's a scar or something that's fine.

Remember that the side of the head represents a different plane.

Good luck.

Here's a full res version if you wanna try and fix it. I would agree with a previous poster that signing your work or overexposing yourself at this stage is a mistake if you want to be an artist professionally.

If you're ever feeling discouraged, google "journey of an absolute rookie" and look through the guy's(Jonathan Hardesty) sketchbook.
